Patient, friendly tech help for your phone, computer, and home devices — no jargon, no judgment, flat-rate prices.

Vetted, local. We explain everything. No surprise bills.

Who TechPals is for

Technology should work for you, not against you

If you own a phone, a computer, or a tablet and something is always going wrong, you are not alone. Millions of adults find their devices confusing, slow, or just plain unreliable.

Maybe you got a new phone and nothing transferred. Maybe the printer stopped working. Maybe you got a call that felt suspicious. Maybe things are just slow and you want them to run better.

TechPals is for people who want real help from a real person, in their own home, who will take the time to explain what is happening — not talk over your head.

Also for adult children

If you live out of town and worry about a parent who needs tech help, TechPals can be your local stand-in. We treat your family the way we would want ours treated: with patience, honesty, and a complete explanation of everything we did.

Our promise

Patient. Local. No jargon. No surprises.

Vetted locals only

Every TechPals tech is a known, trusted person in your community — never a stranger dispatched from a call center.

Flat-rate, upfront pricing

You know the cost before we knock on your door. No hourly meter ticking while we explain things.

We explain, not just fix

Our job is done only when you understand what changed and feel confident using your device again.

What to expect

A TechPals visit, from first call to finished job

Getting help should feel easy — not like filing a ticket with a corporation. Here is exactly what happens from the moment you reach out.

1

You reach out — by phone, text, or this form

Call or text us, or fill out the short form below. Tell us what is going on in plain English. No tech-speak required. We will reply within one business day.

2

We confirm a time that works for you

We schedule a home visit at a time that fits your day. You will know who is coming, when they are arriving, and exactly what the visit will cost — before they knock on your door.

3

Your TechPal comes to your home and gets to work

We sit down with you, look at the problem together, and work through it step by step. We explain every step in plain language. Your kitchen table, your couch, your comfort — not a repair shop counter.

4

You leave knowing what changed, and why

Before we leave, we walk you through what we did and answer every question you have. No rushing, no jargon. And if you run into anything later, you can always reach back out.

What we help with

From your phone to your home network, we handle it all

No job is too simple. If it is making your life harder, it is worth fixing.

Phone and tablet setup

New phone? We transfer your contacts, photos, apps, and messages so nothing gets left behind. We set up your email, voicemail, and any apps you care about, then show you where everything went.

Slow and misbehaving computers

A slow computer is not always broken. It often just needs a cleanup. We clear out what is slowing it down, make sure your updates are current, and check that your security is solid. You will notice the difference.

Why TechPals exists

Good help used to be a phone call to someone you trusted

There was a time when technology problems had a simple answer: you called someone you knew, someone from your community, and they helped you figure it out. That felt normal. That felt right.

Somewhere along the way, tech support became an 800-number, a chatbot, a hold queue, or an impersonal technician who was already out the door before you had a chance to ask your second question.

TechPals was built to bring that neighborly trust back. The tools your phone company sends you are fine for some things. But when you need someone who will sit at your kitchen table, listen carefully, and stay until you feel confident, you need something different.

That is what we do. We come to you, we take our time, and we make sure you leave the visit feeling better about your technology, not more confused by it.

Good questions

Things people usually want to know

What does a visit actually cost?

TechPals uses flat-rate pricing so you know the cost upfront, before we visit. The price depends on the type of help you need, and we will tell you exactly what it is when you book. No hourly meter, no surprise charges at the end.

Who will come to my house?

A local TechPals tech: a vetted, known person in your community. We do not dispatch strangers from a national call center. Before your visit, you will know exactly who is coming.

What if I feel embarrassed about how basic my question is?

Please do not be. We have heard every question there is, and none of them are silly. Our job is to make you feel more confident with your devices, not to make you feel behind. There is no judgment here.

What kinds of devices do you work on?

iPhones and Android phones, iPads and tablets, Windows and Mac computers, home Wi-Fi routers, smart TVs, printers, and most smart home devices. If you are not sure whether we can help with yours, just ask.

What if you come and you cannot fix my problem?

We will tell you honestly what we can and cannot do. If a problem is beyond our scope (for example, a hardware failure that needs a manufacturer repair) we will tell you clearly and point you in the right direction. We will never charge you for work we did not complete.

My family lives far away and they handle my tech stuff. Can TechPals work with them?

Absolutely. Many of our visits are coordinated with an adult child or family member who lives out of town. We are happy to follow up with them by phone or text to let them know what we did, so everyone stays in the loop.

How do I reach you?

Fill out the short form on this page, or call or text us directly. We respond within one business day. You will not be sent to a voicemail box that no one checks.
